The Pictures
The leaf pendant is finished, I just didn't have it handy when I was taking more pictures... It will come, one day :D
Morning Sunshine and Leafy Pendants
This morning I was sitting at the table reading a book. The sunshine was so warm and comforting, shining in on me. My creative side kicked in, and I had to go get some wire, various hammers, anvils and other tools. Pendant making time! I turned on Brian Hardin's Daily Audio Bible podcast and listened while I worked. (www.dailyaudiobible.com) I love making copper jewelry, and there's nothing better than working on it while listening to God's word.
I will post a picture soon.
May you all have a wonderful day! Enjoy the spring!

Some Recent Pictures
I have finally got around to taking a picture of my work bench, for those of you who like to take a peek behind the curtain.
As you can see, I am not the most tidy person, but most of the time I have a general idea where I can find the items I need!
And here are a few simple stone bangles that I've designed using my own hand-rolled patterned copper wire.
I've made a tutorial for these bangles, and it is available easily on my etsy shop (www.coppertreejewellery.etsy.com) or you can e-mail me as well at coppertreejewellery{at}gmail[dot]com.
I've also made cage pendants, that showcase large nuggets or beads or other such found objects. Here's a few pictures. I made a tutorial for these as well. Thanks to my Mum for taking the pictures I couldn't for the tutorial!
Here's a detailed picture of some of the pattened wire that I made with 14 gauge copper wire.
And of course, it also is available on my etsy shop or via e-mail.

Copper Tree Jewellery or Copper Tree Jewelry
You may be wondering why I spell my company name the way I do. Well I chose to spell it jewellery, because, quite simply, that is the correct Canadian way. When I was picking my company name, I knew there were two ways to spell it, so I did a little research and found this out. So, I suppose CopperTreeJewelry would be ok as well, but perhaps if I ever move South of the border!
For now though, you can find me here, and at:
www.CopperTreeJewellery.com
www.coppertreejewellery.etsy.com and
www.eccentricaunt.blogspot.com
to find my earthy, rugged, copper jewellery :)

Ramblings of One Who Doesn't Know Where to Begin, or How to End... Again
Good March afternoon to you all!
I have been busy creating new and fresh items for my etsy shop and home shows! And yes, then the taxes are also due by month's end. How is it that it sneaks up on me year after year, and every time I vow to do it all in January of the next?
So, being that it is the month of March, and the weather is changing (and changing and changing), I feel the pull of spring, and can smell the flowers already. I am enjoying the spring, even though I have not been out in it. It always inspires me. This is the time of year, that I love going out into the bush, in my rubber boots and warm socks, exploring. I love the smell of the earth in spring. New things are around the corner. Mmmmmmm.
It is funny, how I actually want to go down to my little space in the basement and work at my 'bench'. The spring is calling me there to create. Create, create, create.
I was recently interviewed for the Etsy Alberta Street Team Blog! You can check it out here: http://etsyalberta.blogspot.ca/2012/03/team-member-feature-copper-tree.html I am a proud member of the Etsy Alberta Street Team. And to check out my shop, and see some new things, you can go here: www.coppertreejewellery.etsy.com (you'll have to copy/paste the links, for some reason it won't link properly - sorry!)
Please leave me a comment with your favorite thing about spring!
